Nakadomari Site (仲泊遺跡)

The prefectures largest site which consist from 3,500years shell mound and Meiji era stone pavement which shows the life at the time

Nakadomari site is place in front of the beautiful sea in Onna Village and the green river in the back. The shell mound which tells the life of 3,500years ago, and stone pavement of Hiyagonnbira in Meiji era, sum of 6 site is called the Nakadomari site. Especially, the 3rd shell mound Iwakage Jyukyo site is 3,500years and many stone tool and earthenware are the precious site, and designated as National Designated Historical Site.
